As cochairs of their 30th reunion gift committee, Ken Harvey ’84 and Sue Barclay Harvey ’84 wanted to set an example for their classmates. The couple tripled the size of their usual gift and encouraged classmates to stretch their giving as well.
The Harveys’ son, Kenny, is a member of the Class of 2015, and that’s another reason they feel so strongly about supporting their alma mater. “Carleton’s new facilities and programs have made the college better than when we were students,” says Ken, “but even after 30 years, Carleton still feels like Carleton.”
