This workshop provided an overview of queer theory as it relates to several marginalized or underrepresented populations on campus, including but not limited to LGBTQ+ students, international/multicultural students, and first-generation students. The target audience was the Writing Center’s 27 student consultants who support the entire student body with academic.
The funds were used to provide lunch, which was purchased from a local queer-owned restaurant, to guest consultants, staff, and students.
