The funds from this mini-grant were used to print 250 copies of the magazine. Students distributed them in several locations around campus to reach a wide audience, and they also held a launch party on May 21 where copies were also available. The launch party was well-attended by both staff and students, and anyone who contributed work to the magazine were invited to read aloud. Visual art submissions were available to view around the room. Languages represented in this issue include French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese, and Urdu, with several of the pieces including 3 languages. The magazine and launch event offered a meaningful opportunity for cross-cultural communication, appreciation, and fun!
