In Other Words is an annual publication celebrating linguistic diversity at Carleton. This event is a student-led collaboration between the Language Center, the Office of International Student Life, the Writing Center, and IEC at Carleton College. Funds were used to support the launch party.
The goal of In Other Words is to create a space for free expression and creativity in all languages. Aiming to allow all students, faculty, and staff to express themselves in a language other than English. We invite contributors to explore and express themselves in diverse ways, whether you’re using a language you’re fluent in or one you’re still learning. Along with the contributor’s original work, we wish to include an English translation so that readers can fully appreciate every submission.
