This Mini-Grant sponsored a small, intimate lunch for Carleton and St. Olaf students with a visiting Palestinian-Jordanian musician and academic. The lunch, conducted largely in Arabic, offered Palestinian students an opportunity to build connections with a touring Palestinian artist, and provided an informal space to discuss social, political, and personal concerns.
