On October 16th, 2025, Gould Library hosted an artist talk by book artist Islam Aly. Gould Library Special Collections holds a significant collection of Aly’s books, all of which were displayed in the library exhibit Tales, Talismans, and Time Travel: Artist’s Books by Islam Aly. Professor of Religion Kambiz GhaneaBassiri, and Special Collections Librarian Jackie Beckey were on hand for Q&A and discussion following Aly’s presentation
