This week, the IEC Division shared information about undergraduate research reflecting the priorities of Indigenous community partners, highlighted the inaugural Borderlands Spring Break Trip, and added a section to share information about First Gen at Carleton. The newsletter ended with community highlights, including events hosted by the chapel and the Indigenous Liaison, as well as IDE community education opportunities.
Tuesday, February 10, 2026 edition
First edition. This week, the IEC Division introduced Nathan Riel-Elness as the new Title IX Coordinator, shared IDE education opportunities, and other events, including Grounds for Community, organized by CEDI. The newsletter ended with some community highlights, including events hosted by the Chapel and 1Gen student organization.

This week, the IEC Division shared updates highlighting the impact of the Borderlands Trip on students, opportunities related to IDE education, upcoming events, and a way to demonstrate support for first-generation students. Additionally, events—including the Trans Day of Visibility Service and the Bdote and Dakota Sacred Sites Tour—were featured.
