Trans Day of Visibility Service Theme: Trans Joy In Collaboration with PRISM, the Carleton GSC, the Chaplin’s Office, and Northfield Pride Sunday, APril 12th 5pm In Skinner Memorial Chapel Food Provided From Desi Diner!

Following the global recognition of Trans Day of Visibility (TDOV) on March 31, Carleton’s Office of the Chaplain along with the Gender and Sexuality Center will be holding a TDOV service on April 12 beginning at 5pm in Skinner Memorial Chapel. With “Trans Joy” as its theme, this gathering will include music, reflection, art, sharing out, and a whole lot of joy! Through this time of community building, we strive to bring awareness to the beauty of the trans experience as well as the everyday resilience unjustly required of trans people to simply exist. All are welcome, whether as an ally or a member of the queer community. This event is open to faculty, staff, students, and the public.

Dinner from Desi Diner will be available following the service.
