The Division of Inclusion, Equity, and Community (IEC) provides vision and strategic direction for policy, programming, and guidance around all aspects of inclusion, equity, and community. The division was established in 2023, and it’s currently led by its inaugural Vice President, Dr. Dina Zavala.

The Division of Inclusion, Equity, and Community (IEC) cultivates a culture where our campus community feels this is a place for them by actively engaging with one another to ensure that every student, faculty, and staff member has the resources, support, and opportunity to thrive both academically and professionally. Through compassionate dialogue, inclusive education, fellowship, and civil rights compliance, we support and celebrate our diverse and intersectional identities. We ensure our efforts are guided by continuous self-reflection and accountability, prioritizing lived experiences so every community member feels valued, heard, and empowered to thrive.
