Alison Kettering “Festschrift”

Midwestern Arcadia is a recently launched “Festschrift,” a volume of essays published in celebration of Alison Kettering’s rich contributions to the teaching and practice of art history. The Midwestern Arcadia website was launched in coordination with a retirement event held for Alison on May 17, 2014.

Art History alumni Derek Wolff, ’92, Dawn Odell ’86, and Elizabeth Sutton ’03 offered remarks and congratulations on behalf of the alumni while Renee Kistemaker, a historian at the Amsterdam Historical Museum and a professional colleague and friend from the Netherlands, also participated as a speaker. Alison was presented with a bound volume, which included many letters, remembrances and tributes from alumni, colleagues and friends.
