Marathon Reading: The Old Curiosity Shop by Charles Dickens

To certify the fact that “one cannot read too much Dickens,” the English Department will host a non-stop all-day and all-night reading of Charles Dickens’ novel The Old Curiosity Shop (1841). The marathon will begin at 11:45 am, Thursday, Feb. 19th and continue through the last page. A celebratory party will conclude the festivities and commemorative swag will be available.
