We are excited to be able to welcome The Theater of Public Policy back to Carleton’s campus for a conversation and performance around sex education titled “Let’s Talk (and Improv) About Sex!” The Theater of Public Policy is a Twin-Cities based group that uses humor and improv to tackle controversial debates in Public Policy: criminal justice, gun violence, reproductive justice, and more.
This performance will start as a conversation with a panel of people with connections to the topic: Matt Hillmann, Superintendent of Northfield Public Schools; Dylan Karsten,. Manager of Clinical Programs at Planned Parenthood; and Erica Staab, executive Director of the Rice County-based HOPE Center. The group will then move into an improv show building off of this conversation.
This performance will take place in Kracum Hall in the Weitz Center, May 13 from 8-10 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Humanities Center and the Public Works program.
