All new employees have access to the Onboarding Dashboard, which will walk you through the resources and tasks outlined on this page.
Trainings, Tasks & Action Items
- Required Trainings – You can access the New Hire Required Training program in the Onboarding Dashboard in Workday.
- Register your car to park on campus – All faculty and staff motor vehicles to be parked on campus must be registered with Campus Services. See details on parking and vehicle regulations.
- Get a One Card – Your supervisor will help you receive your One Card. You use your One Card to access buildings on campus along with making purchases at the cafe’s, bookstore and dining halls.
- Name Recording – Workday allows you to record and/or phonetically spell your name to be displayed in your profile for accurate pronunciation.
- Visit Workday – Much of your employment information can be found in one convenient location on Workday. Log on to find:
- Web Time Entry – Bi-Weekly paid employees will need to use Time Clock function to clock their time worked each day.
- Paystubs
- Elected Benefits and Deductions
- Update Your Directory Bio (optional).
- Purchasing Card – If your position includes purchasing card responsibilities, eligible employees are to complete the application in Workday. New cardholders will be asked to complete the required video tutorial and read/agree to the terms of the Purchasing Card Agreement.
- Carleton’s Emergency Notification Service – You are automatically signed up to receive these notifications.
