The Gilder Lehrman Institute provides annual short-term research fellowships in the amount of $3000 each to undergraduate students majoring or minoring in History, American Studies, Africana, Political Science, or related fields. Each applicant is required to submit a brief project proposal as well as an annotated list of five documents from the Gilder Lehrman Collection to be used in the project.

Please note that College Fellows must complete their research in New York City between July 1, 2024 and July 31, 2025.
