Jobs in Cultural Resources and Historic Preservation

31 March 2025

A consortium of cultural resource professionals in Minnesota, including staff from state agencies (SHPO, OSA, MIAC, etc.) and private consulting firms, are preparing a virtual panel on careers in cultural resources and historic preservation. There is currently a significant labor shortage in the CRM/historic preservation industry and a number of students who may not know about the variety of jobs that are available. We are hoping to help bridge this gap and provide Minnesota and Minnesota-adjacent university students with an idea of potential career opportunities. The panel discussion is geared towards undergraduate and graduate students in anthropology, history, and related fields who want to better understand the range of careers available in cultural resource management and historic preservation.

  • Tuesday April 8, 2025 from 2-3:30pm

We are still finalizing the platform for hosting the panel and will send a link for distribution as soon as it is ready.
