2020 History Major Russell Star-Lack’s comps “Close to Home: Suburbanization, Residential Segregation, and Jewish-Black Relations in St. Louis Park and North Minneapolis, MN” has been published in a recent edition of the Journal of Urban History. He started his comps project working as a research assistant and Historians for Hire volunteer from 2017-2020. Russell’s comps project was awarded with Distinction. This year, he is finishing three programs at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee: a Master of Science in Urban Studies, a Master of Library Science, and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
