What is an Inner Critic and Why is This Important?
Everyone’s inner critic looks and sounds different, but we all have a voice inside that’s self-critical (especially when we make mistakes). This is TOTALLY normal!
Benefits of being aware of your inner critic:
- Less inner criticism is associated with better moods and decreased depressive symptoms
- When your inner critic pops up, it’s easier to separate this voice from reality
