Sexual Assault Awareness Month - Community Clothesline Project

Fri, April 25, 2025 • Sayles 254

April 2025 marks the 24th anniversary of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, which honors and stands with survivors of sexual violence. During this month, we seek to recognize the lived experiences of survivors as well as their autonomy, power, and leadership.

This space aims to center the stories of survivors of sexual assault and relationship violence, experienced firsthand or witnessed by loved ones. We also hope to create support and community in this space through words and visuals, and we hope it can be a meaningful way to recognize the impacts of sexual violence in our community. We invite you to engage with the space in any manner that you would like to. The use of t-shirts has been chosen in line with a nationally recognized “clothesline project”, which honors survivors and humanizes their experiences through clothing.

Please help yourself to any supplies that you would like to use to share images, stories, words, or any other form of contribution to the community space. Please do not include any names or identifying information in your contribution.
