The Associated Colleges of the Midwest seeks pre-proposals for the spring 2017 cycle of Faculty Career Enhancement Program (FaCE) funding. Ideas for collaborative projects can be related or unrelated to the FaCE program’s yearly themes (Community Engagement On, Off, and Across Campuses; Cognitive Science and the Liberal Arts; and Technology-Enabled Education), but ideas must
- engage faculty either from multiple institutions or from different departments within a single institution;
- identify and test new approaches that have the potential to address current challenges or opportunities faced by liberal arts colleges and their faculty; and
- show how plans become sustainable on the campuses involved and demonstrate the potential to be replicable on other campuses through effective dissemination strategies.
Pre-proposals must be submitted by Friday, February 24, 2017.
The attached Call for Pre-Proposals provides further information. Questions, including preliminary concepts, can be addressed to Beverly Nagel, to Christopher Tassava (Associate Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations), or to Ed Finn, Liaison for Innovation and Collaboration in Teaching and Learning at ACM.
