NEH Archaeological and Ethnographic Field Research Program

18 June 2021

The National Endowment for the Humanities seeks applications to its Archaeological and Ethnographic Field Research program, which supports individuals or teams of scholars who are conducting empirical field research to answer significant questions in the humanities. While the ultimate expectation of these awards is the dissemination of results, the program supports costs related to fieldwork and data processing, as well as compensation for project participants.

This program provides up to $150,000 for projects lasting up to 3 years and beginning between June 1, 2022, and May 1, 2023.

Applications are due Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Contact Charlotte Whited (x5833) for more information.
