Creative Capital has compiled a list of residencies, grants, and open calls with deadlines in October and November 2022. Some opportunities include:
- The Craft Research Fund Artist Fellowship to advance, expand, and support the creation of new research and knowledge through craft practice; applications are due October 21, 2022 ($10,000 for 18 months)
- The Black Mountain Institute Shearing Fellowship for emerging and distinguished writers who have published at least one book with a trade or literary press; applications are due November 1, 2022 ($20,000 for 4 months)
- The Amant Studio and Research Residency Program in NY for emerging and experienced contemporary artists working in a range of disciplines including visual art, film, arts writing, literature, music/sound, performance, and cultural theory; applications are due November 15, 2022 ($3,000 per month)
- The Nightboat Books Poetry Prize for the publication of a book of original poetry in English (original work only, translations are ineligible); applications are due November 15, 2022 ($1,000 advance, standard royalty contract)
- The USArtists International Program for international performances by American artists; applications are due November 30, 2022 (up to $18,000 for travel and eligible expenses)
- The Bernheim Arts in Nature Residency Programs for artists to live and create work inspired by their immersion in the natural environment; applications are due November 28, 2022 ($2500 stipend for six to eight weeks)
