The National Endowment for the Humanities offers tuition-free opportunities for higher education faculty to spend 1-4 weeks studying a variety of humanities topics at locations around the country. Stipends of $1200-$3300 help cover expenses for these programs. These programs are designed primarily for full-time or part-time faculty who teach undergraduate students. Applicants* must demonstrate that their participation will advance the teaching and scholarly goals of the program. Applications are made directly to each program by the deadline of March 1, 2020.
