The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has awarded Serena Zabin, Associate Professor of History, a $6,000 Summer Stipend to undertake her research on her current project, “Occupying Boston: An Intimate History of the Boston Massacre,” an exploration of the tangled relationships between the British army and its civilian hosts in the two years before the 1770 riot. Her stipend has been designated a “We the People” project, an NEH initiative to encourage and strengthen the teaching, study, and understanding of American history and culture.
