Program Dates for Fall 2024
Women’s and Gender Studies in Europe runs every fall from mid-August to mid-November. The tentative program dates for Fall 2024 are below.
2024 Program Dates: August 22 – November 19, 2024 (90 days)
- Thursday, August 22: students arrive in Amsterdam, Netherlands
- Friday, Aug 23-Sat, Aug 24: orientation in Utrecht, Netherlands
- Monday, Aug 26: Women’s and Gender Studies in Europe classes and ISPs begin
- Mon, Aug 26-Fri, Aug 30: NOISE workshop, Netherlands Research School of Gender Studies
- Sunday, Sept 15: travel to Berlin, Germany
- Sunday, Oct 13: travel to Prague, Czech Republic
- Thurs, Nov 7-Sat, Nov 9: weekend trip to Olomouc, Czech Republic
- Friday, Nov 15: Women’s and Gender Studies in Europe classes and ISPs end
- Monday, Nov 18: All student academic work, including ISP work, submitted
- Tuesday, Nov 19: students depart from Prague, Czech Republic
Carleton will continue to monitor the impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on the Czech Republic in the coming months. Carleton will update students and send institutions if an adjustment to the Fall 2024 itinerary is necessary.
Tuition and Program Fees
Fall 2024 tuition and program fees will be available in November.

Students are responsible for books and research materials, passport fees, round-trip airfare to and from Europe, and personal expenses.
