Maddox Cory, WGSE Student in 2011

Maddox graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.A. in Liberal Studies and from Marian University with a Master of Arts in Teaching. Maddox is a former early childhood educator, focusing on anti-bias education and social-emotional learning. Currently, he works as a Social and Clinical Research Assistant with the Writing Skills Development Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Medicine, focusing on the efficacy of literacy interventions on preschool writing development for kids at-risk for challenges with literacy. Maddox is learning how developmental science and clinical psychology can work towards fostering an anti-racist society.
