Our Community Keeps Us Strong
In this past fiscal year, more than 13,000 alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends supported Carleton with a financial gift, and more than 3,000 volunteers dedicated their time and talents to advance our mission of providing an exceptional liberal arts education. Our community’s consistently generous support ensures that Carleton will continue to embody the excellence for which it is known. The dollars raised this year for the Annual Fund, for other current and restricted support, and for the endowment will benefit all aspects of the college today and in the years to come.

Reunion Giving Highlights
Alumni celebrated lifelong connections with each other and the college at Reunion in June. A total of 2,400 alumni and guests came together on campus, from the classes of 1947 through 2018 along with newly graduated members of the Class of 2023. Together, they raised $3.28 million for the Alumni Annual Fund.
50th Reunion
The Class of 1973 celebrated its milestone reunion with tie-dye, thoughtful programming, and love for Carleton. Members of the class raised $28,194,495, the fourth-largest 50th reunion gift in Carleton history, with an impressive 64.3 percent participation. The class’s Stay the Course ’73 Fund will provide $250,000 over the next five years and establishes a $1 million endowment, helping to eliminate financial barriers that might interrupt a student’s education or prevent them from fully enjoying their Carleton experience. Additionally, the class raised $1.2 million for the Class of ’73 Scholarship, which will strengthen the college’s initiative to increase the number of Pell-eligible and undocumented students on campus.
25th Reunion
In celebration of their 25th reunion, the Class of 1998 reimagined what was possible to raise an impressive $630,157 for the Alumni Annual Fund. This gift stands as the second-largest 25th reunion class gift in the college’s history and included participation from 62.8 percent of the class. The planning committee successfully engaged classmates throughout the planning process with creativity, humor, optimism, and a competitive spirit to ensure that every current Carleton student has access to the best liberal arts experience possible, both inside and outside the classroom.
