Reunion Giving Highlights

Returning to campus after a two-year hiatus from in-person Reunion events, more than 2,000 alumni and guests attended Reunion 2022 in June. Alumni spanning the Classes of 1947 to 2022 were in Northfield to celebrate.

50th Reunion

Members of the Class of 1972 celebrated their 50th reunion and their lifelong commitment to the college by announcing a $39.1 million class gift, the second-largest class gift in the college’s history. Their gift campaign focused on two of Carleton’s most urgent priorities: building endowed financial aid for students with the greatest need and ensuring that those students have an equitable and full Carleton experience.

25th Reunion

In celebration of their 25th reunion, the Class of 1997 set the bar high and came together to raise an impressive $484,852 for the Alumni Annual Fund. This is the fourth-largest 25th class gift in the college’s history and is the equivalent of 10 need-based financial aid grants for Carleton students.

Schuler Access Initiative

Carleton donors generously contributed $19.8 million in qualifying gifts for the Schuler Access Initiative this year. A total of $29.8 million of the $50 million goal has been secured to date, and fundraising for the Schuler Access Initiative will continue through December 31, 2025.

Carleton’s partnership with the Schuler Education Foundation will dramatically increase access for the college’s low-income Pell-eligible and DACA students. To learn more, visit the Schuler Access Initiative site.
