Annual Giving Highlights
The Alumni Annual Fund raised $8.23 million for Carleton, which represents contributions from 11,474 donors, 44% of alumni.
With contributions from the Parents and Friends funds, total annual giving reached a record $9,052,448 in fiscal year 2018, with 100 percent of Carleton trustees contributing $1,435,409. All of these superb results are thanks to the more than 675 alumni volunteers who reached out on behalf of the Annual Fund.
Reunion Giving Highlights
Reunion classes from 1943 to 2013 raised $2,523,822 in gifts for the 2018 Alumni Annual Fund. Over Reunion weekend, a record 3,044 alumni, family, and friends celebrated together.
Milestone Achievements
- The Class of 1993 celebrated the highest gift participation rates in decades and raised the second-highest cash gift to the Annual Fund in the past 10 years.
- The Class of 1958 set a new participation record for their 60th Reunion, with 76 percent.
- The Class of 2008 established a significant new 10th Reunion dollar record, with $146,051, and captured the highest participation rate of the 2000s, at 55 percent.
- The Class of 2018 Senior Gift reached 43 percent participation, almost double the previous year’s gift.
50th Reunion
The Class of 1968 set a new record for Heywood Society members, reaching 79 classmates who have included Carleton in their estate or retirements, or made some other type of gift arrangement that will support Carleton in the future.
25th Reunion
With a milestone celebration that was both approachable and transformative, the Class of 1993 raised the bar in gift participation to 67 percent and delivered an impressive cash gift of $440,492.
