Prof. Juliane Schicker, associate professor of German, and Celia Vander Ploeg Fallon ’25 have been working on a preschool language immersion project with the Kinderstube, a German language immersion preschool program of the Germanic-American Institute. On February 19, they provided a training workshop to the preschool’s teachers and administrators on best practices and practical tools in preschool immersion. Vander Ploeg Fallon and Schicker are now working on publishing their work.
