Bursting the Bubble: Where the Syllabus Meets the Street

Fri, February 20, 2026 • 4:00pm - 5:00pm (1h) • Weitz Commons

How do your discussions in class translate to life beyond Carleton, and how does your education prepare you for more than just a job? How do your courses engage with the world right now?

Join faculty from German Environmental Studies, International Relations, German Cultural Studies, and Educational Studies for four ten-minute talks and a twenty-minute open discussion, to look at how activism, community organizing, and international connections provide the tools to engage with the most pressing issues of our time.

Snacks from a local restaurant will be served.

This event is limited to the Carleton campus community.
