Servus! Mein Name ist Kiley und ich freue mich sehr im Herbst am Carleton College zu unterrichten. Ich promoviere in Germanic Studies an der University of Minnesota und meine Dissertation befasst sich mit Umwelt-Literatur. Seit letztem September wohne ich in München als Fulbright-Stipendiatin und habe außerdem viel Zeit beim Studieren, Arbeiten und Unterrichten in Österreich verbracht. Wenn ich nicht mit meiner Doktorarbeit beschäftigt bin, verbringe ich meine Zeit gerne draußen. In meiner Freizeit fahre ich Rad, wandere und reise sehr gerne. Was mir sonst noch Freude bereitet ist guter Kaffee, leckeres Essen und ein spannendes Buch. Bis bald!
(Hello! My name is Kiley and I am very much looking forward to teaching at Carleton in the fall. I am currently writing my doctoral thesis in Germanic Studies at the University of Minnesota about environmental literature. Since last September, I have lived in Munich as a Fulbright Scholar. I have also spent a lot of time studying, working, and teaching in Austria. When I am not working on my thesis, I spend a lot of time outside. In my free time, I like to ride my bike, hike, and travel. I also enjoy good coffee, delicious food, and a suspenseful book. See you soon!)
