Scholarship opportunity for first-year students in STEM disciplines

14 February 2017

The Horatio Alger Association is pleased to announce that its Honeywell scholarship program for students studying in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) at both Honeywell partner schools and Horatio Alger Collegiate Partner institutions is once again available.

We will be awarding 10 scholarships at $10,000 each to students pursuing STEM degrees who have critical financial need ($55,000 or less family income) and who are current freshmen who have successfully completed their first fall semester.

We are excited to offer this opportunity to students at your institution.  The online application is currently open on our website and will close March 15, 2017. The link to access information about the program and to apply is:

If you have any questions regarding this program, please feel free to email me at clundquist@horatioalger.org. Electronic flyers are also available. Please also inform me if you would like to have printed flyers mailed to you. We hope that you will be able to post this opportunity on your school’s website and/or forward this information to your contacts on campus that can get the word out to the STEM students to apply for this award.
