MS Research Assistantship in igneous petrology at ISU

20 January 2022

I am writing to advertise a fully funded opportunity to pursue a MS in Geology at Idaho State University and work with geoscientists at the USGS Water Science Center at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). Please share with students or recent graduates who you think might be interested.
I just received confirmation of this funding, so we are accepting applications until January 31, 2022.

This position is ideal for a student excited about igneous petrology, volcanology, or related geochemistry and perhaps interested in pursuing a career at the USGS. The details of the MS project are flexible but will fit within the framework of the USGS’s goals to characterize the subsurface geology below the INL. The start date is August of 2022. Please see attached for more information about the position and how to apply.
