University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, Saint Anthony Falls Laboratory, Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geo-Engineering graduate student and postdoc positions
My group (https://yang.cege.umn.edu/ ) at the University of Minnesota -Twin Cities is seeking a motivated postdoc and graduate students. These positions come with full funding, including stipend, health care, and tuition waiver. We have projects related to sediment transport, subsurface transport, and microbe-sediment-fluid interactions. Laboratory experience and background in fluid mechanics or hydrology or microbiology are preferred. Program/Unit Description: St. Anthony Falls Laboratory (SAFL) is an interdisciplinary fluid mechanics research center, renowned for its fluid mechanics facilities, scientists, and engineers. SAFL has various facilities for fluid mechanics, hydrology, and soil related experiments. SAFL has its own machine shop and engineering staff.
