The Institute for Arctic and Alpine research at the University of Colorado announced a new graduate fellowship in honor of alumna Sarah Crump ’10. Sarah has been blazing a trail through science after graduating from Carleton, with field projects in the Tetons and Baffin Island to study Earth’s past climate. (You can see her in action in Baffin Island.) This past spring, Sarah was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer from which she recently passed away. The fellowship will be used to support a graduate student at the University of Colorado. To learn more, including how to donate, visit the INSTAAR website.
