All Gender Restrooms at Carleton

Some transgender and gender non-binary students may feel more comfortable using all-gender restrooms. This map shows the location of these restrooms on the Carleton campus.

In 2017, Carleton’s Community, Equity and Diversity Initiative (CEDI) released an Accessible and Inclusive Bathrooms Action Team Report with suggestions for change and improvement.

Going Off Campus?

Use the Refuge Restrooms website or app to locate all non-residential restrooms in Northfield and across the country.

Refuge Restrooms seeks to provide safe restroom access for transgender, intersex, and gender non-conforming individuals. You can rate restrooms and add additional restrooms to their database when you find them around town or on campus.
