In collaboration with the Provost’s Office, the GSC sponsors a biannual LGBTQIA+ Staff and Faculty Social. These socials strive to support LGBTQIA+ Carleton Employees’ sense of belonging at their workplace by providing informal opportunities for them to connect and build community with one another.

Socials take place during Fall and Spring terms. Invites are shared via email with all staff and faculty members.

We welcome allies to attend, with the understanding that these socials are meant to be a community-building opportunity for attendees, and not, unless indicated, a space to educate allies on the experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals.
