Professor Chérif Keïta’s research and 2014 documentary film “Remembering Nokutela,” inspired an all female team in South Africa to produce a documentary short titled “Amagama ka Nokutela,” which won the Audience Award at the 2022 Durban International Film Festival. Two weeks ago, “Remembering Nokutela” was screened for the hundred delegates attending the 55th National Policy Conference of the African National Congress at Nasrec, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
