Cathy Yandell, W.I. and Hulda F. Daniell Professor of French Literature, Language, and Culture, recently gave a paper, “The Criminal Woman’s Body: Les Funestes et miserables regrets de Marguerite d’Auge (1600),” at the Sixteenth Century Society Conference in Saint Louis. She also led a seminar on “Montaigne and Deformity” for professors and graduate students in the Consortium for the Study of the Premodern World at the University of Minnesota.
