Chérif Keïta participates in panel

Chérif Keïta, William H. Laird Professor of French and the Liberal Arts, was invited by the Department of Arts and Culture of the South African Province of KwaZulu-Natal to participate in a panel celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of John L. Dube, the native son who was the co-founder and first President of the African National Congress. On February 26, he participated in the kick-off of a national celebration called President to President Dialogue along with dignitaries of both the government and the governing party, organized by the National Department of Arts and Culture and the Charlotte Maanya Maxeke Institute.
