The 2019-2020 Sophomore class (FOCUS 2022) worked on topics related to education, specifically STEM education. They asked questions about how the US education system works to support
STEM learners from a variety of perspectives, and often with an effort to address
issues of race, socioeconomic status, and access to educational best practices. They then reflected on their individual experience in STEM education, which helped them develop STEM activities that can be used in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms.
