The 2022-2023 FOCUS sophomores class (FOCUS 2025) researched sustainability practices within Carleton and Northfield. They started by exploring their personal experiences with efforts in reducing carbon dioxide emissions and then reflected on the current sustainability practices in communities within Northfield. Then, they developed projects to educate people about current sustainability efforts and showcase why they are important. They also explored how Carleton and the city of Northfield are incorporating sustainable practices in current infrastructure, and developed plans to further implement sustainable practices at Carleton.
