TORCH SUMMER ASSISTANT

Deadline: March 6th, 2017. TORCH (Tackling Obstacles and Raising College Hopes) supports the high school graduation and postsecondary enrollment of students who are low-income, minority, or would-be first generation college students. Responsibilities include: Support TORCH summer programming for students in middle and high school. The Summer Fellow will support programming for youth transitioning to higher education and also help connect younger students with local and regional summer programming opportunities on college campuses. In addition, the Summer Fellow may be asked to support research and data collection for TORCH in-school youth and out-of-school youth programming.Responsibilities include: Support TORCH summer programming for students in middle and high school. This position will require flexibility as TORCH summer programming shifts to meet the needs of its students.

Duration: 150 Hours

Stipend: $1500
