Entrance & Exit Loan Counseling

Any student who takes out a federal loan is required to participate in both entrance loan counseling and exit loan counseling through studentaid.gov. Note: You must log in or your completion will not be recorded and you will have to complete it again.

  • Annual Credit Report Private loans are not listed on the National Student Loan Data System link above.  Private loans will be reported to at least one of the three credit bureaus.  This link will provide information on how to obtain a free credit report annually from each of the three credit bureaus so you can view information about your private loans.
