The Obama-Chesky Scholarship for Public Service (the ‘Voyager Scholarship’) provides two years of support to students who are passionate about helping others, who have engaged in service to their communities, and who articulate a vision of public service as their future career path.
This extremely generous award is open to rising juniors and includes:
- Up to $50,000 in financial aid for college;
- a $10,000 stipend and free Airbnb housing to pursue a summer work-travel experience between the junior and senior year of college;
- mentoring through a network of leaders;
- fully paid participation in a fall summit;
- and a ten-year travel stipend ( $2,000 Airbnb travel credit every year for 10 years, totaling $20,000) following graduation from college.
