The Luce Scholars Program offers recent graduates of US colleges and universites immersive, professional experiences in Asia.
Open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents, the Luce Scholars Program provides stipends, language training, and individualized professional placement in Asia for 18 Luce Scholars each year. They are looking for college seniors and recent graduates (including those in graduate programs or the workforce) in a variety of fields, with a range of backgrounds and experiences, who have had limited exposure to Asia.
The Luce Scholars application opens in the late spring and closes in mid-October. Visit the Luce Scholars Program website for information on how to apply.
Director of Student Fellowships Marynel Ryan Van Zee is available to read drafts of your materials and offer advising on the application process, but no endorsement from Carleton is required for the Luce Scholars program.
