Betty Pelkey, age 95, died on May 22nd. Betty worked as a custodian at Carleton from about 1980 to her retirement in 1994. Before coming to Carleton, she worked as a cook in the Randolph Schools and taught in a one-room schoolhouse in the Stanton area. She also enjoyed playing the organ for 50 years at the Stanton Methodist Church, baking angel food cake, and time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
