In May 2017 the college completed a year-long project to renovate and repurpose Scoville Hall and Johnson House. Minor renovations to Johnson House were undertaken to allow the Career Center to move from its current home in Sayles-Hill to a much larger and more visible location at the entrance to campus.

Scoville was in need of more significant renovation. Built in 1896 as the College library, Scoville was renovated for office and classroom uses in 1954. Restoring the architectural integrity of the building and addressing issues of accessibility were a primary focus of the 2016–2017 renovation, allowing Scoville to become an elegant, public-centered home for Admissions and Financial Aid.
