Close reading is da bomb. Period.
2. If everyone moved to Mars but you missed the flight, which three literary characters would you want to keep you company?
Razumikhin from Crime and Punishment because he would be a loyal friend to the end, Hermione from Harry Potter because she could get us out of problems fast, and Milo from Catch 22 just to keep the rest of us on our toes.
3. If you could create your own English class, what would it be?
Sonnets through the Ages: Early Modern to Postmodern. Sometimes I write letters in sonnet form. I admit that I’m a little obsessed.
4. If you could give your Freshman self one piece of advice for an English class what would it be?
Take English classes! What are you doing messing around in biology?
