In addition to the Senior Symposium and a regular stream of visits from distinguished speakers and talks by faculty members, the department also has a vibrant social life.
Traditional events, old and new, include literary quiz bowls, marathon readings of very large books, pizza parties, poetry recitations, and the annual Senior Banquet and end-of-year picnic in the Spring term.
